Nice! I found Paris to be a very colorful place, especially on the interior of the buildings.

I will be in Paris at the beginning of October. I have sent 2 emails to Chez L'Ami Jean for a dinner reservation but - no reply. Can you recommend another restaurant - similar price range and quality?

Cafe Life Paris! You're making me hot to trot (to Paris, that is)

I've been watching the travel shows and lately I've seen ones on Paris at least three times. Each travel host travels differently. A couple of them stay in deluxe hotels and one chooses to stay in less expensive ones. So, we get to see a variety. I especially like to see the outdoor cafes and the great bridges.

To Gourmetgirl---Chez L'Ami Jean has been on my list for decades and I still haven't made it! I would suggest going to the NYTimes and searching Paris restaurants----they have never failed me and are more current than I am.
Also the moderator of this group should be a good resource.
