I just joined this group. Nothing much is going on. Hopefully, that is because everybody is so busy with their projects. Do you spin, knit, crochet, weave, dye or braid rugs?
I have given up most of those crafts and settled on spinning.
My house is full of wool! Now if I could get the IRS to let me declare my wool as insulation, I could get a break on my taxes and ...buy more wool.
I am in upstate New York. Where are you? Do you belong to all the fiber groups at yahoo.com? I do.

I don't think this group has a Manager and/or Moderator but it's nice to know that you are here.
I "used to" knit, crochet, spin, weave, dye etc (about 10 years ago and never excelled at anything). I've been enthralled with beeswax and making candles and other experiments for the last several years. As all of that has come to a screeching halt, I find myself drawn to the fiber arts once again. Since I no longer have my spinning wheel or large loom - it's like starting over and fun! I tried some "cobweb felting" this week. Very interesting.
I live in Georgia. How close to Canada are you? Used to live in Wisconsin. I think that the upstate NY accent is similar to the Wisconsin accent.
Fiber groups/yahoo? Haven't ventured there yet. I'll check it out.

Haven't seen much going on in this group. I wish there were more. I do belong to the yahoo groups also.
