Hello, new to the group. I love cooking (and eating). Am a great lover of new and different food. Ethnic foods am fond of are Italian, Mexican, Middle Eastern, and some German. NOT a lover of rice, oats, califlower, Oriental foods, okra, Indian foods (do not like the curry), and anything licorice flavored. Hope to get more recipes to add to my rather large collection, and to share some of mine. Maybe to find some recipes lost over the years.

I had Gumbo for the first time the other evening. The cook held back on the red pepper. It was really quite, okra included, and my stomach didn't do its "hot food" revolt.
