Spell Checking for IE

If you have a Mac, you have built-in spell checking. If you have Firefox 2, you have built-in spell checking. But what about those poor souls who use Internet Explorer?

Here's the solution: Download and install ieSpell 2.5.1, a free IE plug-in. It's safe, it's free and it works.

I can't personally vouch for it (I'm a mac/firefox guy, mainly), but it's gotten excellent reviews from trusted sources.

Here's an alternate review and download site.

Don't look for Eons to implement a spell-checker because built-in browser spell checkers are inherently better and soon enough, you can count on Microsoft to buy the company that makes ieSpell or build their own.

I loaded it and it is working just fine! It is a real time saver! Thanks, tallbob!

I ran it on this reply and it only barked about your handle!

Thanks tallbob!

That's a great plug-in. It will save me time from having to read and re-read my own writing to make sure there are no errors. You saved me time. Thanks.

Great post!

The nice thing is that you can add words to your personal dictionary to handle strange things like loko, massracin, yikes, tallbob! Never have to correct them again.

^bump-ola^

Want to make sure all IE users see this message!
(We need a moderator function that does this bumping thing without writing a reply, don't we?)

Maybe you should put it in announcements so it stays stuck for awhile:)

This was one of my top three Eons requests. Thanks for telling us, I am now 1/3 happy.
