QUICK REVIEW FreeLanceWriting dot com

WOW! What a great find, Vicki. The website provides more than expected. Check out Freelance e-writing and Freebie e-books to download. view link ... In fact, I just downloaded their Book Proposal Writing, view link a freebie.

This page gives the magazines' named and guidelines to follow: view link
and Literary sites are these: view link

Am looking over: Novel Writing Software view link on the site (cost is minimal). I've been looking for such as this in writing journals but always too expensive for me.

Found The Reader's Digest! view link providing submission and sign-up page. There are dozens more journals listed that are in major cities. Not all, but many. How very convenient = updates are a prize. Haven't read the latest WRITER'S MARKET book view link but guessing these are listed.

Major find for me... don't miss a peek, everyone.

Thanks! I was pleased to find it. I did read the latest Writer's Market and it is so thick and complicated that I couldn't tell if they would take my queries or not. This really helps!

I went to several of the websites and magazines, but was a bit disappointed on submissions - most say the if your work has been online then it can't be published in their magazines. it was however very interesting and I did submit a new poem. I have found a love right here in EON's writers groups. I can't wait to write, share, listen, read, and learn. Thanks.

I sent into two writers magazines one is called Underwired. I was told that they were good. So I sent in my story about lingerie and they rejected it. What Nerve! They ask for that as a topic and reject it. Its a wonderful story... and also I wrote to Writers Digest for their short story contest. Paid 20.00 for this, I worked hard for this and they said Nope sorry we have not chosen you.

I think that they need to send our monies back if you reject it. what you all think?

Also... Dave Do you want any funny stories for you book?

PS Misplaced... wanted to tell you about Writers Journal.. and The Sun Magazine. I love these two magazines.. they do not pay much in articles in there, but they do have a big clientel and alot of publishers read them... and the stories are just fun... I love the Writers Journal because of all the fun stories and immaginations that everyone has... it sometimes makes you feel you have known these writers all your life.

Yep, sad thing about this passion we call writing is it is according to who reads it to whether they like it or not. I was a finalist in the Amazon Breakout Novel Contest and I won two professional reviews of the first three chapters.

One loved it and couldn't wait to read more, the other was brutal. Same story, different editors. So you never know.

But keep writing.
