Very easy to create, but I am having an issue with putting the code into a web page of mine. What is the right choice from what is listed.
Very easy to create, indeed! Thanks, Sylk!
jjjlewis, I downloaded the image when I first used the site. However, here's the different code choices if you want to link to the image they store at imageshack.
To embed the image in your own website page or on Eons in a message, PM or on your profile page, you can use the code on the top right under:
Code for webpages/blogs/Myspace:
(just the banner)
To use the image as a banner for your profile page or in some of the code we play with, you would need the direct image link. Look for the one at the bottom right:
Code for direct image link:
(or click here to view it)
To use the image as a banner for your Eons group, you would need to download the image and then upload it to Eons. Click on the "Download it!" button instead of the "Get the codes!" button when you have finished designing your image.
If you choose to use the links to the image they store on imageshack, you still might want to download the image to your computer as a back up in case something happens.
Have Fun!

Here's some with an image background:

The choice to upload an image is about in the middle of the page. I almost didn't find it! That will open a new section with the choice to upload from your computer - or put in the URL to an image already stored on the net. I decided to just use the choice to "stretch the image to fit your banner" option and it looks fine. That way, I don't have to crop the image to the right size. There are other choices about how to get the image to fit your size choice for the image your making. Ultra neato!
This would be a neat way to create a website set of images. Course, you could also create your own comment graphics. Can't wait to see what others do!

Thanks for this really cool site. I used the selection you suggested and it worked fine. Now I can play.
Well I thought I could play. I do find until I get to the "get codes". So this last banner I did I wanted to post it on my facebook page in the "What's on your mind" box. I did everything I had previously done with the other one but just the text of the code appeared. I am guessing I do not understand the logic beind the different formats and why they work the way they do. Or it maybe the destination site that is the reason one worked and the other did not.
It is a really cool site however and free!
Facebook doesn't allow HTML code in their messages boxes. So, when you paste code, the FB box treats it as if it is just text. It doesn't execute the code and show what you intended. You'll need to download the banner in order to use it. I'll PM you with a the little that I know about FB.
Being able to use code on Eons is one major drawing point as far as I'm concerned! That's one great thing that sets Eons up far above other social networking sites!
So, you're not doing anything wrong. FB is just contrary!

I totally agree.. with that statement..
I think eons may be trying to be like, other social networking sites, when they are in reality, superior..
keep up the good work eons and Mimi..

This answered a question I already had about codes. I just made this page a favorite. Thankyou so much for this!
