Chocolate Cake

I used to bake a 3 hole cake pan cake. You mix cocoa powder, flour and sugar in an 8" square pan and make 3 holes - egg in one, oil in another, and water in the third and mix it all together with a spoon. Does anyone have the proportions required?

I used to make that cake when I first got married in 1962 it was called Wacky cake. I'll have to look and see if I still have the recipe. I probably do somewhere. I'll post it when I find it.

Hey Kay, here is the one I have hope it's the one your looking for.
1 1/2 c flour
1 c. sugar
1 t. salt
1 t. soda
3 rounded T. Cocoa
1 T vinegar
1 t. vanilla
1/3 c. oil
1 c. cold water

Sift first 5 ingredients into bowl. Level it off. Make 3 holes; 1 big one, 1 med. one and 1 little one. Into the middle size hole put vinegar. In small hole put vanilla. Into big hole put oil. Pour water over all and mix well. Pour mixture into greased 8x10 cake pan and bake at 350 deg. Enjoy!
