Actually,I didn't know if this was an aloe or an Agave' plant....they look similar to me.
Perhaps,Lady Silver or Red will know....

Looks like an aloe here is another pic. Everyone in Phoenix had one-even if only in a small pot-just great for burns.

It is probably an aloe plant Storm it is hard to tell the difference and the photos that I have seen of both are not very definitive. Ladybird helped out with more definitive photos. Thanks Silver.

The Aloe has the spikes on the side-the Agave does not..
