Internships for Boomers & Retirees

ABC news, in conjunction with JobsOver50.com, is putting together a segment on internships for 50+ job seekers. The topic will stress that people are going back to work, even for internships or similar type employment.

If you are interested in contributing to the story and appearing in the segment (Nightline or World News Tonight) please let me know. We greatly appreciate your interest.

Thank you,
Michele O'Connor

rather than working, I am contributing to the community through multiple volunteer jobs that keep me busy full time. They should mention giving back to the community

While I greatly admire the fact that you are contibuting to your community though volunteer jobs, I can't afford to do that. It's great networking, but it doesn't pay my bills. Keep up the good work....I'm truly glad you can do it.

I volunteer as a CASA -courts child advocate, I also head up my Community Green Committee. In the past I have done a practicum at the school in the School Superintendents department building a green school plan and before that a practicum with a Guidance Counselor. Two years ago I did a intership with a DR on a clinical trial.
