"Survived" the School Year?
Unless gunplay, assaults and severe vandalism are your daily (DAILY!) routine, you have more than survived. In one child you have made learning look less like a "stupid move." In one child you made life safer, just going to school. To one child you prepared them to be a young adult; to a young adult you prepared them to accept the responsibility that comes with the title "adult." To one child you opened the door to that world of life-long learning. To one child you gave the motivation to know more.
Not all. Not most, and maybe even not many. Just one.
"Survived?" You deserve a triumph, complete with laurels and parade; and the bound servant, whispering, "This too shall pass."
