good morning ladies!
it is raining here in Atlanta. Good day to stay in and read a good book. I did the pool yesterday and fireworks last night so at least I got outside during the weekend. I try to make the most of every day I have off! lol

I'm sitting here waiting for my daughter to come over, so we can go downtown for an architectural river cruise and whatever else we find to do. I'm so glad the weather is nice today!

Hi Lost. It rained in Chicago all yesterday, and I sat in my room at the guest house and read most of the day. Rain makes a good day to be lazy! I'm glad you got to see fireworks.

good morning Lost and Beach! Yesterday's rainy weather made it a good day here to do some cleaning and laundry. but luckily it cleared out before dinner and I made grilled chicken breast and grilled asparagus, and baked sweet potatoes. Yummo!!
Didn't have to go anywhere to watch fireworks, just pulled a chair out on the front lawn and watched the local ones here in town. Was good enough for us, no hassle with crowds or parking!

A friend and I went up to the shopping center on the corner to watch fireworks that were going off in a park nearby. We didn't get in the traffic and didn't have to fight a crowd and the view was great.
Besides...there is a Rita's Italian ice shop right there...yum!
