I am using vista and cant dowload adobe,I can download 99% after that its say cant download have error 1606.

stillsexy54 - downloading Adobe what? Reader? Creative Suite? Neither? Both? Flash Player?
I think what Robert was referring to was the Symantec software that might be causing your problem, although you didn't mention if your anti-virus was turned on while downloading.
Do you use Symantec/Norton?
The rest of that MSoft support topic had to do with older operating systems than Vista.

If you want to try a freebie that handles pdf files ... a reader

It is nice if you want to do anything to that file like highlight, underline, add your own comments, etc., though if using it free, a stamp gets added to the top of each page. They also have an editor that allows you to drop/eraser sections. I use this to avoid printing sections of a page that I don't want to save ink.

I agree with daytripper08, try a free one. I use Foxit Reader, it is much smaller and faster than adobe, plus it allows you to type in any pdf document, all for free.
