I have seen Nina look out from a blanket like that --- so cute. Amigo panics at loud noises. Gun shots, fire works. He gets soo scared. Thankfully no fire works around me.

Ahhhhhh, poor sweetheart. I only have one that gets upset with the loud boom booms. Little Gabby my Papillon comforts her by washing her face and laying her paw on her arm. Reese doesn't seem to notice the noise much.She's to busy looking for the next adventure.

My Boo-Boo attacked everything we tried to light. He grabbed a big fountain one and run down the street with it shooting out his mouth but wouldn't drop it. Amazingly it didn't hurt him.
So we went behind the house to the lake to use the water kind thinking he'd be ok and not put him up in the house. He swam into the lake pretty far and sunk it, didn't swam back all proud. I had no idea a doxie would be so protective over fire. It made me cry, I was so touched. Of course, we put him in the house after that.

Awww, it does sound like he was trying to protect you guys! I can't believe he jumped into the lake! Our little guys are amazing...

Poor little ones- always so brave, but when it comes to those loud noises, they run for cover! But then, you've got the Braveheart little guys, like Joans', who will risk life and limb to protect us. I would have teared up, too. Hope he got an extra treat for his bravery!

Yes, he got the leftover hotdogs and some ice-cream. He also bit a burglar who tired to come in our house while we were sleeping. I had forgot to check to lock the front door. 3 other neighbors were robbed but Boo-Boo saved us. They caught him and he had dog bites on his leg, I loved it!

Bravebrave Boo -Boo! I am so happy he wasn't hurt. Our MinPin ( when I was a wee one) had teeth kicked out by a drunk who entered out home. He was also fearless like our Doxies.

I think it's safe to come out now Buddy ~ You're a cutie! I hope all enjoyed their 4th. It sounds like brave little Boo-Boo had a pretty wild night! We can see the fireworks from our place without having the really loud booms and crowds so we all enjoyed it.
