A Lighto Fantasy World
Last night I went out with my sister to a bar in a neighborhood that i used to frequent when I lived in the area...place had a live band...the lead singer was a guy whose brother I dated when I was in high school..hadn't seen him since..he kept looking over at our table..my sister and her friend were convinced he noticed me...I thought they were crazy...I went up to him at the break...he said I looked familiar, but he couldn't remember where he knew me..so, I told him...he put my face in his hands and said this "Oh, yes..now i remember...my God, you have the same face"...then he introduced me to his wife...she is lovely...
Last week I met a guy while I was out dancing...we talked...I asked him his story...he's a 50+ divorced man who likes younger women..I laughed and said we had a lot in common (younger men, for me :-))..he said he thought I was 32 and was sticking with that...I didn't argue...we had a blast dancing..then he quickly left when a group of women came in...
I am holding on to the delusions of these men for a very long time...I already got enough reality in my life to last me forever...I'm stickin' with deluded fantasies...
Let's raise a glass to keeping our deluded fantasies..
