LOL That was GREAT, Too!!! Now, I do wish fire works could be like that. I love candy corn and money falling from the sky would be nice. I would be there with my pale to catch the change. :)

I had a fun and safe 4th of July this year. This morning I participated in the Run Wild 5K again at Uptown Park here in Houston, and it was typical of the Houston weather for the past few weeks - HOT, HOT, HOT!!
I'm posting photos from the race in the photo center. Notice how dry my shorts were BEFORE running, and how soaked they were AFTER the race; but even though I was nauseated during the last mile due to the heat and slowed down, I still received a first place age group award!

I watched the PBS special and had a grand time. Stayed nice and cool and heard lots of good
music. Enjoyed it so much, I watched it twice!
