I'm a vegetarian and wouldn't look at a hamburger anyway. And like most people I give regularly to charities that I have chosen to support. It's a kind thought but we all have to support the ones that affect us the most.

The local food bank here in NJ does a wonderful job and has a great track record of converting donations to food for those who are in need without anyone skimming off the top like most charities.

I have been donating regularly for many years now

I give to my food bank regularly. I worked at a nonprofit for a while, and the only way most of those kids got a hot meal for dinner is when we fed them. Most of that food came from a food bank, which gave it to us virtually free.

If everyone did this, I don't suppose there'd be an obesity problem/issue in this country. But there IS.
