Thank you Jane-

Thanks Jane. I'm going to the park to see if there are any large family picnics. Lots of times you can just help yourself, everyone thinks you're part of the family! It's good to be an American. We have so much food it's incredible.
Wasn't Mok's message funny?
We started our holiday weekend yesterday by going to a poetry reading and then an art show at the Sedona Arts Center, where I have a painting titled "Bedecked and Bejeweled." It's abstract, intentionally wild. Tonight we'll watch the fireworks celebration on TV from Washington, D.C. When it's 10 p.m. there it's 7 p.m. here in Arizona. We'll have front-row seats and be able to go to bed at an early hour. When our sons were small we always went to see fireworks, and it was fun seeing them explode overhead, but we do it the easy way now. We appreciate the fact that we don't have to get out in traffic and deal with the crowds.
Cheers!

What funny, I'm dead serious! Last year I took out me boat and tied up at the Everett Rowing club with a gal and watched the fireworks while she drank beer. This year she got sober so I guess I'm going to be alone. Drunk women like me better, I guess. Why is that?
