1802 U.S. Militay Academy opens

First of All Happy 4th of July to all!!!!!!!!!! On this day in 1802 West Point offically opens. What a great tradition of training all those thousands and thousands of men and women who have gone on to famous life long service to this country. My hat comes off to all who serve today in all the military services including the brave men and women of the Coast guard. How do you all feel? Jay

Happy 4th to you too. When my grandson graduated from high school last year, two of his close friends were appointed to West Point and one to the Naval Accademy. Three had joined the Air Force. This was from one senior calss. People talk about our teenagers today as if they are second class citizens. They are a great bunch of kids and the future of this country.
I say Thank You to all who serve in the Armed Forces today, no matter what branch. Thank you for keeping this country safe. God Bless you all, and God Bless America!!!

Please remember to say a prayer of thanks to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our great country and the men and women that have served and the ones still fighting the ghosts from years past that still haunt them today. If it were`nt for all the brave men and women who have served we might not be celebrating this wonderful holiday. Pmac
