prayer request

Hi everyone! I have not been on in awhile. Been busy. For the first time in over a year I'll be going back to work part time. I had cervical spine surgery in April. I'm 57 yrs old. I did apply for Social Security Disability. I decided to at least try to go back to work. The pay and benefits are a whole lot better than Social Security.

I'm trying to get back in step with the Lord a lot better than I have been as well. Please pray I can be a real spiritual leader for my family. I've felt so spiritually empty and low for awhile. The Bible says when we know our need we are open to the Holy Spirit.

I've been married 35 yrs and have 2 grandsons (6 and 2 yrs old).

Don't want to write an epistle here tonight. Its almost 3 in the morning and I couldn't sleep.

GreyEagle, Sending prayers for you! I added you to our prayer requests this morning. Thank-You for sharing with us. The Lord has brought you through some really difficult times. He never leaves our side! Just keep your faith strong and depend on Jesus completely and his blessing to you will continue.

I pray the Lord grants you the strength and wisdom to move forward in this new life with understanding and patience to do good works, and free you and your mind of anything that would stop your always remember that in three days , or in this case Third day the Lord arose your up seeking him , and he is guiding your footsteps

GreyEagle the Lord is very happy that You want to come back to Him. He has been near you the entire time protecting you, leading you and loving you. Just talk to Him and tell Him you are ready to live for Him again and you need the Holy Spirit to help you be the spiritual head of your family. This is as it should be and God's will for you so please don't delay any longer. Just repent whatever you have done in the time of doubt and tell Him you love Him. You'll be even closer to Him than you ever were and you now have a testimony. Ask Him also to help you witrh the job to give you strngth. Blessings
