Turns out I don't have to worry about fireworks and TQ, the city isn't having fireworks this year because of cutbacks and the economy...they have always had them off the Oceanside pier since I was 3 years old! Kinda doesn't feel like the 4th without fireworks...maybe I can go out and find some sparklers somewhere...

I've heard of quite a few cities canceling because of lack of funds. I guess its a sign of the times.
