I have a problem with EONS, only. Everywhere else I go on the net, things happen within a few seconds at most, except on EONS. Here, each action I try to perform takes, at least, 20 seconds, and often times, longer. Example: when I clicked on the 'join this group' tab, it took a good 20 seconds to bring up the "join" page. And that 20 seconds is actually fast, compared to how long it takes to post something on one of my groups. This only happens on EONS. Can anyone help me correct this? Thank you in advance.
Hello Wolfie ~ it is just slow. Sorry. I am not an expert, but I have my own experience along the lines you describe. I mentioned it in Getting Around on Eons Group. At least I think I did - lol -
My experience is that Eons is a bit faster than Facebook and just a tad slower than MySpace. Anywhere you go where there are a lot of people logged in at the same time things tend to slow down. The good news is that because most users are in the US there are times when things are a little faster - very early in the morning and very late at night and sometimes around 12 midday EST.
Yes it's true but something happened to make it that slooooowwww. I remember two months ago it wasn't like that. Maybe EONS should go and look and see if something is out of place?? Or whatever the technical term is for this??
I have the same problem but only with the wireless connection at my cottage. At home (wireless or not) it is just fine but up north it's slower than molasses. Often I just give up and wait until I'm home to connect to Eons. This only happens with Eons not any other site I use. Strange! I thought it had something to do with my ISP up here, but guess not.
