Your most fabulous 4th...

Is there a 4th of July celebration you'll never forget??

My own was one where my late husband and I were out of a dock, alone, watching fireworks across the water...
Our own fireworks were more spectacular...
When I was a kid, the 4th was special as it was my folks anniv and we always had a big family picnic. It was something I always looked forward to each summer...getting together with lots of family that I didn't get to see very often!!

This wasn't fabulous, but sure was funny. I lived in Huntington Beach CA for many years and the city had a parade every year--one of the biggest in the country. One year there was an elephant in the parade and I guess you shouldn't let an elephant have too much to drink before a parade, because he emptied himself/herself along the route. The folks sitting on the curb moved faster than any human beings I've ever seen to get their feet out of the gutter before getting inundated with elephant pee.. Definately memorable.
