Hmmm, good question. The link you gave is to the free Run-Anywhere Widget. Here's some info from the site:
"The Image Live Traffic Feed (or Run-Anywhere Widget) does show you the landing page, but only on Feedjit Live which you can access by clicking the widget."
That seems to suggest that the visitors to your profile page would have to click on the image and go to the Feedjit site for their information to be collected.
I don't see anything in the code in the link you gave that would collect the information from visitors to your profile page. It would probably need some javascript for that. However, when I tested the code and then clicked on the image, it took me to a page that showed my visit. That page did have javascript in the source code. (I peeked at the source code of that page!)
You can see what that page with the information would look like by copying the first URL from the code on the link you gave and pasting it into your URL address box of your browser and going to that link. It should show information about you - country, browser, OS, town and probably "unknown landing page". You can see what the image URL looks like by going to the second URL in the code.
You can also paste the code into a message in the Playground, go to preview and click on the link to the live feed. A pop-up box will appear asking if you want to leave the page. Click continue and it won't paste the message, but you'll go to the site. That's how I tested it.
You could test this particular widget by pasting the code into your profile page. Ask some friends to come by, but tell them not to click on the widget. After they let you know they visited your profile, then click on the widget and see what information it gives you. I don't think their visit will show up, but this way you would know. Then you could decide if you wanted to keep the widget.
'm curious how they would show visits without javascript unless the folks have to click on the widget, so let me know how it turns out!

Thanks for checking this out Mimi. I think I'll wait and see what anyone interested might come up with. You know me, it takes some big time thinking for me to catch on! lOL This peebrain of mine doesn't want to comprehend too much. LOL
Found this in the Eons Widget Gallery
NeoCounter:
view linkYou can customize it with different skins, background colors, and choices of what to show. Since it is in the Eons Gallery, one will assume that it will work correctly on Eons. Notice the word assume.
It seems like I've noticed something similiar on someone's profile, but can't remember whose. Maybe it will come to me in my old age - if I ever get there, LOL!

I added the NeoCounter from Eons and it works. The only problem is that I opted for the "space" skin and it gave me a Christmas one. Kind of funny considering it's the 4th of July! Wonder if I can change it or if I'll have to delete it and start over.
That's rich, richkats! Christmas in July - on the fourth! It should be interesting to see what you get next!

That's cool Mimi! And richkats, "Go for it!" See if you can't change it and just see what you can come up with. Ought to be interesting. LOL
Ha! The next time I checked it had changed to something else. It must be a rotating skin. Also if you click on the flag it will show the city of the visitor. And if you click on the title it will rotate through a number of different ways to display information. Sweet!
