Sarah Palen Steps Down

It's a sad, sad day for Democrats today. Sarah Palin has stepped down as governor of Alaska and announced her intention to get out of politics. I was so hoping that she would be on the 2012 Presidential ticket for the GOP.

I'm willing to bet that she will make an announcement shortly that she has been offered a lot of money to be a spokesperson/lobbyist for some half-witted company/industry. I can hardly wait.

KerryCork, If you'll actually read the Vanity Fair article, you'll realize that her worst enemies are other republicans. Marketmama

On those rare to nonexistant occasions when I need an opinion on cosmetics and health food, I rely on Vanity Fair. However, for business, government and politics, The Wall Street Journal and FoxNews are much more reliable, fair and balanced.

The first thing I look at, is who said it. Here's the guy who wrote the Vanity Fair Article:

Award-winning journalist Todd S. Purdum joined Vanity Fair as national editor in 2006. Purdum had spent the last 23 years at The New York Times.

No wonder he's delusional.

Palin may have quit her job to cut her losses as Alaska's problems mount and to gain a greater share of the national spotlight for the run up to 2012, she is not under investigation by the FBI as some have reported. view link

CNN) -- The FBI, in a rare response to rampant rumors on the Internet, said it is not investigating Alaska Gov. Sara Palin on public corruption charges.

"Normally, we don't confirm or deny those kind of allegations out there. But, by not doing so, it just casts her in a very bad light," said FBI Special Agent Eric Gonzalez, who confirmed for CNN the statement he made to the Anchorage Daily News. "There is just no truth to those rumors out there in the blogosphere."

Gonzalez told The Los Angeles Times that there was "no wiggle room" in his comments for any kind of inquiry.
