It's a sad, sad day for Democrats today. Sarah Palin has stepped down as governor of Alaska and announced her intention to get out of politics. I was so hoping that she would be on the 2012 Presidential ticket for the GOP.
I'm willing to bet that she will make an announcement shortly that she has been offered a lot of money to be a spokesperson/lobbyist for some half-witted company/industry. I can hardly wait.

Broom handles... let's see ...they are useful when trying to sweep a floor. GIves a strong item to hold on to for support so you don't have to bend over and do it. Broom handles are wood and are turned to make them smooth, removing imperfections. Seems like a broom handle reference shows strength, refinement, and support! Not a bad reference.
Joe the plumber.. I liked the guy! HE wasn't afraid to ask a Hard quiestion...more than the media did..and still don't do! Old pres needs the hard questions! He asked exactly what I would have asked. When he did he spoke for millions of other americans... seems that makes him like alot of people.
Nancy pelosi is a pitbull with lipstick if anyone is! But the libs love her! and whore votes?? The ACORN group did more prostituting during the campaign than anyone! Their little gifts bought alot of votes of welfare followers after freebies!
She was governor. Can't expect her to work as a waitress, which I don't think would be above her if she had to. Why isnt' Michelle O working in Kmart??? If all political woman can't run the job, and have to work, then we have a bunch who do nothing, like a woman should.

I congratulate Palin on giving her efforts to succeed. She was called on to do the impossible and she stood the onslaught of hate from every side including her own. Whatever she is, she is honest. If you can see through her be glad because she is "transparent". I like her spunk, her energy and her honesty. I don't think she is smart or politically astute. She parlayed discontent into a run for office and now she has to learn the bitter truth about politics the hard way. I don't know what she plans but i hope she is successful at it. I think she is a winner no matter what she does. She has withstood all the malicious words about her daughters, her husband, herself and her children and now grandchild. She has stood, which is more than i could do under similar circumstances. Kudos to Palin

Yes, parade her daughter. She dragged her teen-aged, pregnant, unwed daughter into the national spotlight for no other reason than to further her own politcal career. Was she entitled to do so? Absolutely. Does it make a good mother? Absolutely not. I'm not sure where the "slaughter her baby" comment comes from. Why would you have expected her to? Just because she slaughters animals there is no reason to assume she would slaughter her offspring. Or is that some reference to her anti-abortion stance?

I said she had the intelligence of a broom handle, dear. Regardless of how you feel about their aesthetic refinement, they are not intelligent and neither is Palin.

Joe the plumber was, and is, a media whore who tried to leverage his fifteen minutes of fame into a career. Fortunately everyone, both liberal and conservative, saw through him and he has still failed to make a name for himself as anything other than an opportunist. Fifteen years from now he may make a minimalistic come-back of sorts when some cable channel does one of the "Whatever Happened To ...?" shows.

Nancy Pelosi is a pitbull with lipstick and other than her California constituency who continue to re-elect her and send her back to Washington, I don't know anyone of either party who dotes on her.

Maybe we see more to Obama than his attractive appearance. Yes, it helps that he can put together a coherent sentence and deliver it without turning it into an abortion but he is also extremely intelligent and erudite. He also has an understanding of diplomacy and how to make it work for us. That alone stands him head and shoulders above our Cowboy President.

Liberals are tolerant of differing lifestyles and differing opinions but they loathe ignorance, especially willful ignorance. As a good friend of mine has stated recently right here own Eons, it's a very sad thing when people self-censor what they will read, study or listen to other than that which agrees with their fiercely held points of view.

You may find this hard to believe but most liberals are hard working people who want people to have adequate food, clothing and housing. They want politicians to be held accountable for their actions and they want less governmental (and religious) control in their lives.
