As for myself, I been lucky to be able to travel not a lot but just enough to see different part of this land, and what I love the most is its geography, not only has a good coast in both ends but has those huge mountains, I think is call The Pacific Crest Trail; a great hot dessert, many towns some quaint but just as beautiful as a picture, I remember going to Buffalo, I was thirsty, and we got off of the main highway, and we found this little town so small but was so cute it has a small fall and a few houses; I will never forget it, like when I been in Maine and the view from up high to down the shore is so majestic, Sorry, but I can describe with words thew beauty of the terrain, a few weeks ago I went to Yosemite lakes, its something so impressive, you need to see with your own eyes. For that I always say: God Bless America.

I love lots of things, about our good old USA, Marly! One thing I feel, that is important to me, is to be able to worship as you please. The beauty of it all just blows my mind. From sea to shining sea...
Like Chosi said the geography, what other country can claim so much beauty and diversity. We have it all including Alaska and Hawaii, and I've had the pleasure of seeing most of it having come from a military family.
Aside from all our freedoms and how good even the most disadvantaged of us have it compared to the rest of the world, I would have to say I love our diversity the most. The variety of geography, people, and cultures makes us a very unique country. "Share our similarities, celebrate our differences."
Yes, I have to agree with "diversity" be it people or geography. We meet all kinds of people, all kinds of traditions, different religions, different ways of speaking (the accents) Also the way we even call things by different names ie: soda, pop, tonic etc.
The geography in our USA makes it someplace we can travel constantly & still have things to see.
I have lived all over while an Air Force Brat as a child. I camped the whole Eastern Seaboard from Maine to Florida. I have seen the Atlantic, Pacific and in between. The plains, the mountains, the lakes & rivers. The hills and the valleys. The big cities and the smallest one horse towns. Every place has it's own stamp of originality.
If I had the money, I'd buy an RV and take a few years to just travel the USA. I am proud to be an American!

This is a great post Marly. Thanks!!!
Human diversity in all it's delightful forms!
Our multi colored and cultural country. I have driven in all but 5 states. we are the same people no matter where we go. Just remember the ones who are in gardens around the world who gave their all for our freedom ED
With all respect to those who chose "diversity" as their fave from America, I say I love the VARIETY of cultures and colors we have. Diversity comes from the same root as "division," and "divide." In health and sickness, in trouble and bounty, we are one. One nation, made up of many states and territories. States made up of many communities. Communities made up of many peoples. Peoples made up of many individuals. We are many, and we are one.
And it was my privilege to defend each one.
