Those Poor Teabaggers...

Looks like without the Faux Networks incessant promotion and ramblings about the upcoming Fourth of July tea party festivities, not to mention the lack of support of the Republican Party which didn't last until June.

Did they finally wake up and smell the tea? That protesting tax increases after one of the biggest tax cuts in recent history was just plain stupid.

Its pretty much a bust. view link

I kept getting teabagger invitations from a local person and I kept replying that I prefer to drink my tea.

I also told him they picked the wrong symbol. They should have chosen Wall Street ticker tapes ,job pink slips, home foreclosure notices,doctor/medical bills...

I appreciate rallies, protests, etc as much as the next person, but I like my statements to be clear and to the point. It made perfect sense for the Colonists to dump tea because tea was a part of what they were protesting.

The Republicans have tried to wrap themselves in Family Values, the American Flag, and now a symbolic tie to our founding fathers that didn't make sense. I'm glad that their message/purpose was so unclear- so foggy -that people haven't fallen for it in a big way.
