Good morning, Squeakers! The weekend has officially started and so I looked through the graphics and found one to get us started...I encourage everyone to post whatever makes them feel the spirit of the holiday.

Today's topic is about the federal stimulas package - I read an article that talks about the fact that the flow of stimulus funds is still only a trickle. About $53 billion of $479 billion has been disbursed by federal agencies and how although congress that approved the money - the checks are held up in committee.

The idea behind the government's economic stimulus package was to get money flowing through the system, boost economic activity and create jobs. But an msnbc.com review of the latest federal spending data shows that the money is flowing at a trickle. It is a 10 year program that is front loaded - most money to be spent in the first 3 years. So, where is this money?
