Guilty read

Being a Trekkie at heart, i am reading "Vulcan's Forge" and enjoying this guilty pleasure. I know some folks feel that way about sneaking peaks at the "Inquire" at the grocery store or stashing a bodice ripping romance in their stack of books at the library but for me it's Star Trek books.

I read some historical romance.I am picky and have 4-5 favorite writters. These ladies are well educated and do a lot of research.I have learned a lot about other time periodsThe thing that really bugs me is people who look at the cover and give the "look"..I have started using a paperback cover.I enjoy many genres. After I read a few heavy thrillers I need a light, happy ending book.

I know this is an older post, but I'm reading back to try to catch up. Haven't been able to do much the past month, including reading. But anyway, I also love Star Trek books. In fact, on a place several months ago, I finished one. As I was putting it away, the businessman, suit and all, sitting next to me asked if I would let him have it! He said it was one he hadn't read. Guess it's his guilty pleasure as well!

Nice to know there are alot of Trekkies out there. Never did the conventions but did see the exhibition they did at the Air and Space Museum in D.C. several years ago.
