I would like you to pray for my son Adam. He is a very tall young man, a bean pole with a happy go lucky nature. He is a keen surfer and cross country driver. He earns his living driving a crane on a building site, one of the very high ones. He was married 6yrs ago, after 6weeks of marriage his wife ran up debts of £25,000 and walked out on him. Then he met another young lady, he lived with her for our years and out of the blue she told him to leave. Finally he met another girl and moved in with her only to have his so called best friend sleep with this girlfriend. Now he is chronically depressed. It is very unlike Adam to be depressed. He phoned me last night and said he couldn't sleep and kept crying. He has been to the doctor who told him he was chronically depressed. He has to return next week for councelling and to get some medication. But I would really appreciate your prayers. I know he is 34yrs old, but he still my little boy and I feel so helpless.

Rev., our children are our children, regardless of their age. Father, we approach your throne with humbleness of heart and gratitude for all that you have done for us. We lift Adam to you at this very hour and ask that you please touch his soul, for from the soul comes happiness and peace. Help him to realize that the One who will never leave him or forsake him is You. Shower him with comfort Dear Lord. Show him the way. Help him Jesus to seek You for counsel, comfort, peace and true love. We thank you for Adam and his loving mother. Please be with him and we ask this in Your Holy Name - the Name above all other Names. Thank you, Jesus.

That's right Rev. My sons 36, and I still think of him as my little boy. I try not to treat him that way though, after all, he is a grown man. I'm sorry to hear about Adam, and all hes gone through. It has to be hard on the whole family.

Send your life-giving Spirit
upon those who despair of living,
O generous and loving God.
If it is your will,
let them find rest from their labors
that they may have peace.
If there is a call they have not heard,
open their eyes and ears to know it
that they may find the joy of abundant life.
Grant them your blessing this day

I feel like a am wearing your shoes in this situation. Lord, I feel like I am not even worthy enough to pray this prayer for Adam. I thank you that he has an open line of communication with his mother, because that is so important. We take authority over the depression in the name if Jesus and order it to flee into dry land. We ask that you loose joy and cover him with the garment of praise. Lord let the oil of gladness flow down over him. I ask that you put someone in his path who he can relate with and talk to. Fill his heart with joy and reassure him Lord, that you will never leave Him or forsake him. In Jesus Name Amen

Father God we lift up Adam to You today and remind him how much You love him. Assure him Father that there is a woman out there who is made just for him. Father help him to put his depression to use by counseling others who are in or have been in the same situation. Father teach him to use Your wisdom to choose the next person and to speak to You about it before he makes any commitments. And Father let him know there is no shame in crying when you are sad but we can have our sadness turned into gladness when we pour ouselves out for You Lord. I will be sure to give You all the glory, praise and honor. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift Adam up to you now. You know his heart and that he is tender. Lord I pray complete healing for dear Adam from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet that you would heal him emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. He is Righteous because of your Son Jesus the Christ.
IS: 53:5 By His stripes Adam has been healed.

Father, Put your arms around Adam. Keep him in them ao he will know You are the only help for a hurting heart. Forever we will give You praise.
