We were behind a car the other day that had a bumper sticker proclaiming "I don't date fat chics"
My passenger's answer was "I don't date skinny dickheads."
JerryMerry, I am curious as to why someone else's appearance has the ability to upset you.
For those of you who have been questioning her femininity, JerryMerry appears to be known as Geraldine Kalman. An earlier check of her profile included this information. However, that information has now been removed so it currently says JerryMerry, as before. A Google search for Geraldine Kalman brings up several hits which seem to fit the person and the situation.
We have more food than any other country and can afford to pay for it. Also the American diet is full of fat and sugar. That stuff is in the supermarket it is cheaper than the good stuff and so what do people buy? What they believe is a bargain and tastes good.
People who fell for that stuff, once fat, find it exceedingly difficult to take it off. It is like smoking. Once someone has started smoking it is exceedingly difficult to stop. While the food may not be adictive in terms of chemicals such as smoking with the nicotine the adiction is to the flavor and the feel of the endorphins because of how they react to the body. Before long it is too late. Also some folks have hereditary slow metabolisms. These folks are doomed no matter what they do.

50 years ago, fat people were an oddity. So now, in the last 50 years, everybody has inherited a slow metabolism or some other endocrinal excuse?
How about they're just too lazy, or don't know how to cook, and can't afford a decent restaurant. So they opt for McDonalds, Burger King, or Dominoe's Pizza.
It's not quantum physics folks ... it's not rocket science ... it's actually easy ... more calories taken in than energy expended equals those rollie-pollies.
