What really pisses me off is when men comment on the obesity of women when they aren't so fit, as well. When does anyone have the right to comment on this??? That is just plain rude. And no, I am not obese - athetic, with a few pounds. Just saying.
JerryMerry says,
I get pissed off when I see a woman who doesn't care enough about herself to keep a decent figure.
And that's another thing! People who don't look the way I think they should! I don't know why women spend so much money one clothes, when they should be spending it on cosmetic surgery. Can you imagine women who don't care enough to keep their appearance up? You can't tell a book by it's cover, but you can at least get a new cover once in a while!
There are people in the U.S. who are in their 60's and 70's, AND LOOK LIKE IT!!.
I just don't know what the world is coming to. . . . .
How about you, Jerry? Thinking of a little lift here and there?
Oh yeah, in Polynesia, Bigger is Better. Largeness, in Asian cultures, denotes prosperity.
They say that beauty is only skin deep but ugly goes clear to the bone. I find this post both rude and insulting and I don't have a weight problem, my problem lies with people who are so shallow that they judge people by how they look.
Horseshit......one only needs to travel anywhere outside the confines of the USA and you'll see exactly what Jerry is talking about. There is a serious problem here folks. Kids are too fat, women are obese and men are stepping on their guts. If that doesn't make up the clientelle of the Golden Corral then tell me what BUFFET stands for.
Just an observation.....not a personal accusation.
So I guess American women are supposed to look like this....???

I do believe that this is a much healthier look.....

And yes, according to "standards" , though whose I don't know, the second pic is of a woman that's considered "plus sized"
Must be a conspiracy theory working here. I just commented on obese folks and the whole thing fell into a hole.
The second is much preferable to the first but she could still lose a few pounds and not be hurt from the exercise. Just my opinion as a personal trainer.
Do you think obese people "like" how they look?Do you think they prefer being obese? There are other reasons for anyone to be heavy, and it's not by personal choice,I assure you.And it's not just women. One more thing I agree with 1bookmark, someone can always lose weight but they can't change their uglyness.
Who the hell are you and Joy Boy to judge anyone about anything - to group whole sets of people under some undesireable umbrella. People who have bigger mouths than brains or compassion apparently.

ahhh shit.....here we go.
To be totally fair, there are plenty of obese men out there too! I was pretty bad myself, but it was my company's fault! I has on a job where I walked 3 miles a day plus a quarter mile to and from the parking lot. They switched my job, now I walk 100 feet from the parking lot and sit all day.
Commenting on someone's weight is just plain rude, I agree! They DO know they are overweight! It's the same as commenting on someone that is crippled or has a birth defect! RUDE!
