DNA studies show that most people have traits common to all humans. There are some Australian aboriginals who also use the clicking sound in their language.
Thanks for the info, Baxtor. I went to Wikipedia to check it out. That tribe uses click language for religious ritual, and religious ritual is the most conservative (least likely to change) use of language. They have probably been using those click noises for a very long time.
wasn't it the great Mirriam Makiba who sang a song called "the click song"?
at some point lamguage started to separate and become diffeent by region or whatever. I can see the need for a story like the myth of the tower of babel to explain the different languages.
While the Khoi language is very old , I think that it might be scientifically incorrect to say that all people descended from the Khoi or related tribes , since we can trace the roots of humanity to a time well before the Khoi existed as a tribe and there was undoubtedly divergence within the human family tree before the Khoi came along .
