Great recipe for snack crackers
I am sitting here pigging out on some homemade snack crackers. Hubby got the recipe from a co-worker. I have to say--they are wonderfully different!!!!
Hubby says the mixture looks sorta of gross but don't let that stop you.
1 gallon jug
1 box plain saltine crackers
1 1/4 cup canola oil
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch Salad & Seasoning mic
1 tbs. red pepper flakes
In a mixing bowl, mix the oil, seasoning mix and pepper. Put the whole box of crackers in the jug and cover with the mixture. Lay jug on side and give it a quarter turn every hour until all liquid is soaked up. Then continue to turn every so often until 24 hours have passed. Eat and enjoy--either alone or with cheese.
Hope you all enjoy them--they are addicting!
Hey--just thought of a name for them--Fire Crackers!!! hee hee
