Wow I heard him way down here. Not going anywhere except maybe to town for a movie tomorrow. Just too darn Hot. 102'F today at 2 pm and almost 6 and has not come down.

The gas prices are not slowing anybody down as far as I can see, the traffic was horrible today and will be worse tomorrow. I think a lot of folks made a 4 day weed-end for the 4th holiday. We have been in cool beautiful weather all week, RI,NY,CT,VA. Now on way to GA. and it will be HOT.

The group and I will be spending the 4th downstairs in the basement, trying to "hide" from those awful, noisy things that go Bang! It's become a 4th of July ritual- I sit down in a chair, and then I'm mobbed by dachshunds, trying to burrow their way behind me.
It's been delightfully cool here all week (in the 60's)- I love not running that AC!

livntruck, you got that right! GA has been nothing but hot!!! (Except for last night after a short shower it cooled off for a little bit.) It's been close to or right at 100 for weeks! But come on down! The more the merrier!!!
