Time for Author Update!

We are in the middle of the year and would love to hear what our authors are up to and have been up to!

Book signings: 2 farmers' markets, Saturday at the Americans with Disabilities Act fair. I've made copies of one of the articles in my book that speaks to this issue, a grandmother worried that one of her grandchildren with a disability is being coddled. Selling, but also slowly building an email list for updates when future books come out. Got several endorsements for the back of the next edition of the book, including one from the Chicken Soup for the Grandmother's Soul co-author! AKA Granny-Guru

Book signings locally and just finished the screenplay of my last novel, Dear Harmony. I'm taking off now for a couple of months of traveling...major road trip...just to get away and relax and see new vistas that will inspire more writing as it always does! Will have books and business cards with me everywhere I go for promotion goes on, even on vacation!!!

I am getting really excited. One of my friends is going to make a movie of "Saving Tampa." It will be entered in movie festivals around the country. Who knows might happen? We'll start filming after the first of the year. I AM THRILLED! Say a prayer that someone important might see it!

I am giving away 5 copies of my novel "Dusty Waters: A Ghost Story" at Goodreads.com (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/ 6574084-dusty-waters-a-ghost-story? utm_medium=api&utm_source= author_widget). And I've been busy for the last six months editing my next book "The Fractured Hues of White Light", a novel about an autistic artist. It's very close to done, and should be out in time for Christmas. It's been a learning experience being an independent author, I'm in the "red" for now, but my books are being read, I see it as an investment.

Book sales are going great for At Knife Point, have sold over 200 so far and sales are still coming in on Amazon.com, that is just wonderful. I hope to sell more of my book at my next book signing. The feedback has been great in fact I just received an email telling me how much she loved the book I don't even know who this person is,so I guess I'm doing something correct. I'm just about finished with The Eliminator my latest novel, which I hope will be ready for sale by the first of next year. Even though I didn't get much feedback from my fellow authors I feel good about the book.

I was going along great with my current novel-in-progress (an occult crime thriller called "Ash: Return of the Beast") until I realized a glitch in the plot and I can't decide on a way to solve it. So far I'm not thrilled with any of my ideas. Arrrggghhhh!!!!

Excerpt from the introduction and the book cover can be seen here:

My mystery novel, "A Murder In Zurich", is finally published and being released by AuthorHouse. It was quite a journey. I hope my next one goes as well. I have spoken with some local book stores about placing copies
in their stores. So far, it's been all positive.
