Giving aid to most nations is a waste of time and money. Take care of the USA first!
Do we want to help people, or do we want to show that we're helping people?

Basically you help people because you want to help people and they will notice eventually.
right Charles. It is our father in heaven that sees in secret and will reward you openly. Aid is what we are giving not publicity for ourselves.
I believe that is at an individual level but this is a political one

We should help people because we can.....because its the right thing to do. It does not matter who knows about it....God knows.
but if theaid we give is used to teach hate against the country does that make sense?

Hell yes it matters that they know here this aid is coming from.
If they know America is feeding their bellies, the next time the Taliban walks through and asks where the Americans are...the full bellied might not be as quick to rat us out. And maybe when the refugees return to Afghanistan, they will not join up with those that want us dead.
It's called aid as well as propoganda and has been a weapon of war for ages.
May be i need to clarify this again the people getting the aid from america are being told it is coming from an Islamic service and america is not mentioned at all except saying that they do not care about the People of pakistam. All foreign Aid is part propaganda our Aid is being turned against us.

I think we should only give aid to those who support the USA let those who hate America get help somewhere else
mmikey wouldn't we be shooting ourself in the foot? Aid is a great opportuniryu to show our positive values.
