I am fortunate here, even if the county decided not to have one, which I doubt. I always have Fort Bragg. They put on an outstanding all day event. This year they have Julliane Hough and Jason Michael Carroll along with many other events and vendors. I used to have a stand there myself when I still worked Fayetteville and it gets crowded early. Down side is crowd's and traffic, if you are a patient person, you will certainly have a good time.
For me this year will be the normal 4th. Kids show up, swim, drink all my beer while I grill my butt off and then all go down to Lillington to sit relax and enjoy.

...it may bee too rainy here for fireworks, we'll see....that's usually the only inhibitor here. Will bee going to a local lake for a pic a nic with some friends...better than nothing, which has happened b 4..(:+))

hey boo boo let's say we steal some pic a nic baskets....
there's a few going on on Cape Cod and we hope to catch one if the rain stays away!

Just got a voicemail from South Florida. She said the weather has improved tremendously and it looks like the fire works will be a go for us down there too. Yipee!
Hey Blaz if you find a cheap flight you can share our room ;-).
PS I hope you meant the SKIT would be a month late...if it's only a week after the holiday I won't make it.
