Recent Stupid things I have done

For those of you who know me, keep in mind I said recent so you can save the never ending list, besides, there are more than even you are aware.

{Stupid 1} I just again completed a Real Estate course in pursuit of a license. I have done this once before but it was on the heels of my separation and I don’t recall a sober moment but I do recall failing miserably as the test you take to take the state test is unbelievably hard even for those that understand it.
To shorten this part. I passed the test and am eligible for the state test and the stupid part is I have no intention at this time to pursue this venue as it is expensive to start and money, though good when it comes, is not about to be enough to sustain my lavish lifestyle.
{Stupid 2} I had recently purchased a Blackberry Storm cell phone thingamajiggy. (I saw it advertised on eons) I got frustrated with it rather quickly as I am challenged when it comes to technology but I thought I would learn it, after all, I am not that old, I don’t think. Needless to say, one of the little known factoids about me is that I am EXTREMELY impatient. I am sure that is hard for many of you to believe but alas, tis true.
After several fights with the new and innovative touch screen that does not, as I had hoped, accommodate fat fingers I decided to give it up and try the other one advertised on eons. The Fabulous Samsung Omnia. Boy, am I a genius. I have had it for just about 2 weeks now and just 3 days ago I finally learned how to access the call log and see what I missed (only took an hour to delete the list)
If I must say something good about it and I must or I would be a total idiot for keeping it. (Save the banter on that one) I do not have the fat finger syndrome with it as it comes with a VERY pointy stylus.

Give me 1 more week and I will lose that too.

It's fun isn't it? It wasn't very difficult either...just one glitch.

You'll love it. Kind of becomes addiciting knowing you don't have to be locked at a desk to keep in touch with your friends.

I bought a laptop back in Feb and set up my own network so I can be wireless. I love it. What I need a desk top and a laptop for, I don't know, but that's what I have now. Just upgraded my cell service and bought the new En V Touch (or semething like that) with Navigator. Since I moved to the big city I figured I better get help so I can find my way home when I go out exploring. Better than bread crumbs I think. It's all Bluetooth but the darned navigator doesn't work with my built in bluetooth in my car. At least I don't know how to make it work. Plus the phone is all internet capable too... like a mini computer but darn, I tried to get my email on it one day and it was so small that I couldn't read it. What a waste!!!

McButt, you're doing great. Keep stepping outside your comfort zone, it's good for you. Congratulations on passing the test. You should rethink the State exam. Real Estate will come back and that way you'll be ready.

MissT, My bluetooth doesn't work with the car radio because I can't find a dead fm station! There is bleedover everywhere!!!! I have 500 photos from Europe and can't get them uploaded to photobucket so I can post some! We have four laptops and a desktop and there is someting different wrong with each of them! Somedays I am ready for the string on a can.......And lighto, did you say you were trying to get drivers under control? Good luck with that!

Blaz I've attempted to use a Mac on several occasions (all client related). I just find it easier to use Windows XP. Then again the PC world came up with Vista which is a pain in the butt. I'm waiting to see if Windows 7 is any better. I do have Safari downloaded as a browser but that's about how far I've gone into the Mac world.

Yanno Jerry....I think back to our very first few conversations when you were in that "less than sober" mode as you joined eons....but from what I can tell just by looking at your current headshot, I would say all is fine in your world....

So quit yer bitchin....do what ya gotta do and learn these new-fangled toys...they really can be a big help to someone who is so obviously "on his way"...

I thought I'd let Jerry wallow abit before adding my 2 cents. As a guy , who is "on his way......out", I find that technology is mostly an intrusion on my life. Had a cellphone, hated it, never again. To demonstrate my total disinterest; I've had 2 cars with On Star, not only did I not subscribe to On Star.........but they give you 6 months free....and I never even activated it for the free service.
