blocking ads...

is it just me?...the new flashing lord of the rings and the pine cone research ads at the top of eons seem to be really creating a problem for me...takes forever for pages to open...

how can i...or is there a way to block these on my macbook w/safari 4...OSX 10.5.7...

or do you think it's something else creating the problem...i know it's not my internet connection...

Between GhostDancer and me, we seem to have knocked your original subject off track. I haven't been too successful scrolling the flashing top ads down to size (out-of-sight!) but I have a Mac which may maneuver differently. And they are STILL flashing away at the top of a blank screen for several minutes before reaching our Eons website - only the names/subject matter change. Guess it all boils down to Harry Truman's apt one liner - "If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen!"

yep...that's about the sum of it!...and we're all still here...cuz we enjoy everything eons offers to us free of charge!... :)...my situation seems to be some better...thanks again matty!... :)...
