I think he is playing it right. Give them the right of first refusal, let the Repub's decide for themselves whether or not they want to continue looking like idiots.
As in continue to take the "high rd" It just gets frustrating seeing all the pathetic, unwarranted things they say.
that's not a mental picture I can live with..a folksy,down home Obama?
i always said we have to have a dictator with full powers that will care for the people and not for the corporate america
i am not sure the senate will aprouve every thing, unleass each one can get his pet aprouved (if not they will not be able to collect the bribe)
???? no one has suggested "folksy down home"
i know, i only was saying what we need,
we had almost one of those, but he folowed the mony instead of the people
Right! When Bush was elected(by small margin) he went against what the public wanted. Obama is (for most part) doing good job of representing the majority.
..this may be the most important time of the Obama administration. He has the majority...what will he do with it?
I think health care should be in the forefront but after that I am unsure for myself on the next and the next etc.
He is moderate and I like that. To just say whoo doggies we is boss hog now won't serve any useful purpose.
I would say stay the course, continue the slowdown in the middle east as far as Iraq is concerned. (Afghanistan is a whole different kettle of fish).
Continue with rebuilding the US's faith in her economy.
Ignore the naysayers for they will be loud and boisterous.
I'm still waiting for the first picture of Obama clearing brush and building fences on the range. heeeeha!
Heed mochaman's words - we don't need to jam things through. Let the opposition get egg on it's face. We definitely do not want bills pushed through like Bill Thomas did in early 2000's. Just keep doing what is right for the country, not the party.
