I am finding fog and rain. Three days of sunshine since I've been here and more rain to come. I haven't even found a lighthouse. Drove by several parks and many trails...in the pouring rain. Hope next week is clear.
That's when you buy a plastic poncho, shoes that don't matter if they get wet and keep on going. I sat on the beach at Destin while a hurricane Steve was about 40 miles off shore. Sat under the umbrella and got some amazing pictures of the surf, stormy sky....they turned out great. The (now ex) husband sat up in the room watching TV and drinking beer. Guess that's why he's the ex :-). Or find a good book and a good coffee shop......but I'd rather find the ocean, regardless of the weather.
