Great link! Thanks :) Like you said, be sure to ask about your discount; most places that offer it will have it posted. Also, some of them will do certain days only, so be sure to check with that store and shop on those days to get your discount. One of our grocery stores offers senior discounts on Tuesday and Wednesday, while a local Christian bookstore offers the discount on Mondays. So, check with your favorite hangouts (hotels, stores, restaurants) make a list of who offers discounts on which days (if not every day) then go out and enjoy!

If you have an AARP card don't forget to ask anywhere you shop if you get a discount with that too.

I always cruise Kohls for the sale racks, but to get more savings on top of that would be great.

Kohls periodically does a promotion where you earn store credits by using your credit card to purchase. If a sale item was bought with a senior discount and then used to earn store credits for future purchases, that would be great.

There are some movie places, Regal's multi-plexes, that have free family (G) showings that you can take young grandchildren to at 10am. It might be different in other areas.
I won't pay the prices in Khols, even on sale, unless I really need something. I prefer TJMax and Ross. I got a cotton blanket that the first tag said $98, for less than $20 before taxes. I have weaned down to needs rather that 'I wants' I amaze myself with how often I can walk out of a store with out anything. :-)
