"Exodus"

Recently i reread the book "Exodus" by Leon Uris. i was greatly inspired to restudy the old stories of the jews in their homeland that are written in the torah & prophets...it is a great read, set as fiction but with all the historical facts of the jews persecutions & trials, along with the struggles & wars they fought to regain Israel their homeland...anyone read it?

I too read it many years ago, and found it so informative. I do enjoy historical novels. I am not sure but I think he also wrote "Trinity" about the Irish struggles. Also very interesting.

yes, i am thinking of reading his other works also...and am rereading "Exodus" for a third time, really amazed at the tenacity & courage of the Jewish people. Makes me think how much help we can get daily by stepping out in faith...

After Exodus which totally captivated me, I followed every single book written by Uris. Except for his book "the Haj" I found his books fascinating and I eagerly looked forward to the next.

peace,
