Any Suggestions????????????/

Hi Everyone, i've been going to weight watchers for over a year. I lost 45 lbs the first 7 months and haven't lost a pound since. What am i doing wrong? Yes, i have cheated quite a few times but go back on the diet. I'm more active in the spring and summer months and can't seem to lose like i did in the cooler weather.

the new WW momentum plan has a booklet called "pushing past plateaus" they say in it that plateaus can be expected and they suggest ways to push past them...of course there are "eat smarter" "move more" "build helpful habits" and "attend meetings". Its booklet #10 in the 10 booklet set. Some of the suggestion are, "try bumping up the proportion of Filling Foods" in you meals; reaffirm your commitment to your tracker; if you are using all you weekly pints allowance each week, consider using only half of them; consider measuring you food again for a while as it is possible that your portion sizes are quietly getting bigger and bigger; and of course "increase your activity level"

Hope this helps...let us know how you do

Thanks intouch2 , i have been skipping meetings and haven't received the # 10 booklet. I guess its back to the beginning and starting all over. And this time behave myself when it comes to portion control.

I too reached that plateau and after six months of not moving I quit weight watchers. After a year I could tell that the weight was starting to come back so before it got out of hand I started again with weight watchers about a month ago, since then I have lost 10 pounds. It seems that the only way I can really make a weight difference is if I track faithfully, even if it things I don't want to admit that I have eaten or just one bite of something, write it down. If I miss a day tracking then I'm in trouble, so I am finding I just have to track, track, track my food and points

Sewnup, I think you are right. I've also hit a plateau, and I know it's because I've gotten lazy about tracking, and have snacked more than I want to admit to myself. I KNOW that I have issues with sodium and water retention, but I'll grab a handful of salted peanuts or something, instead of eating some crunchy vegetable. Then I kick myself later when I have a gain. Been fighting with the same three pounds for over a month, trying to hit the 30 pound loss mark, but I just can't seem to make myself get totally back on track. Got a cruise coming up in Oct, so maybe that will give me the incentive I need to get with it!
