I HAVE ARRIVED

Does anyone have a new body for this poor old tired and worn out broad? Moving is such a bitch especially when it's clear across the state, but I'm in my new place in Portland OR and start work downtown tomorrow. Thank God it's only a three day work week for me this week. I think I'll survive that. I still have tons of unpacking to do but I got my cable and internet hooked up this afternoon so I figure what the hell... I'm taking a very well deserved break and may not get much more done today... There is going to be evenings and a three day weekend next week to work on this place.

Wish me well as I start my new adventure in Portland Oregon and if any of you are up this way, I would love to see you! We could have our own skit with the rest of the Portland are 40 plusers.

Enjoy your new adventure! It'll be great. Anytime new people and new situations are involved, you grow and learn. Good stuff. It'll definitely be more fun when you get unpacked, though. Welcome to your new home :-)

This is my favorite part of eons...you can move to someplace new and already have some "built in" friends in the area. Say "hi" to bikerwitch for me and enjoy the new place.

Hey Dell, I work hard at being kicked out of the towns I live in. So far I'm 100% successful. Let's see how long Portland can put up with me, especially with Witch as my side kick. Watch out Portland!!!

Thanks everyone for your encouraging words and good wishes. My first day at work went well. I had the expected glitches with computer set up and getting all the programs I need, but it will all work out.

Let me know when you're this way so we can have a skit (official or otherwise).
