Hi there Sassysatin;like your swiss steak recipe;may i inquire,do you place all of the veggies on the bottom and the tomatoes and gravy poured over the top of everything else??

Use my crockpot often and have never known for sure if veggies should go on the bottom or the top.
HELP!!

Have a nice day!

Root veggies take longer to cook so always place them on the bottom of the crockpot and place meat on top. Hope this helps. Enjoy and let us know if you like this recipe.
