Hey there :)!!! Ya know...I signed up for your class when you told me about it on Taltopia :)...Call me a bit blond, but I never could figure out where to find out assignments :(...and here I get a email, with an actual assignment!!!! Ok...question, so does it matter HOW I draw it? Can I use my drawing board, rather than pencil/paper??!!! Also, is it due at the END of July?? :) Ok...well, I'll post more questions as they come...hee hee...ya know...would of been easier for me to just draw a horse LOL...that's actually what started my interest in drawing...wayyyy back when I was a young teen...I began drawing horses, Pegasus, and unicorns (well...and fuzzy teddy bears hee hee :D!!!!)...
thanx for the email!!!
-Rebecca :)

you can use any medium and any thing including your computer skills, pottery, collage, ... after all, you're all here to improve on your own technique, so go for it... zebras only.... and Terry, I gotta do one too even though I have one for the Zony book and one for the A-Z Signing coloring book... hey, it's good practice and who knows maybe someone will want one of yours for the living room, one for the bedroom and one for the dining room.....

Robert, you were prophetic... I sold the zebras this morning to the first person who saw them. They also wanted the horse but it isn't for sale, its a gift. Ok changed my mind... I am all about ZEBRAs, lets do zebras every month! The thing was barely dry! LOL

Where are you selling all these paintings, Terry???? On the web? In a gallery? Friends? Relatives? I'm not asking you to give away your sources. I'd just like to get a general idea about how to sell some of my stuff someday. I really want to be an artist when I grow up.

I've sold one ACEO to my sister. She never paid for it, but that's sisters for you. I sold another ACEO on Etsy, but that's it. I'm really haven't put a lot of effort in trying to sell things. I'm still working on trying to figure out how to paint, but it would be nice to sell. I guess I may have to get out of the house a little bit.

I'm happy for you.

Thank you. GRM I belong to an artists co-op in real life. What that means is that a group of local artists unite... there are 30 of us and volunteer (work) 4 hours to keep our gallery open in the mall. It is a non-profit organization sponsored by the local art association.

For my 4 hours of work a week I get an 8 x 10 wall area to display my work and hopefully sell some. Its a really cool way to share expenses and bring many levels of artists works to the community from begginer to accomplished. Its also a really nice network for finding out about opportunities to hang and show your work. And finally a great group of people to know and hang out with. Many areas have them, I would check with your local art association and see whats out there. T

Thanks, Terry. I like that idea. I'm going to have to leave my comfort zone and get out of the house. I think I have a bit of a social phobia. I'd rather just stay at home.

GRM - there's lots of online venues. I've sold at artbyus, zazzle, red bubble and art cards wanted to name a few.

Terry - congrats on the sales!
