many are too busy to post

Everyone is so busy and few are posting. Will we lose the group if it keeps up like this? I spend most of my summer outside and I am tired by the end of the day. I do not have time for many of my winter activities including my blog, etc. I just don't want the group to close. What can we do to liven things up or does it matter? I know group activity will pick up in a month or so. Any thoughts or suggestions? ruralgirl

The groups aren't as active in the summertime. Here in NW Michigan we have waited so long after our loooooooooong cold snowy winter.....so many are outside enjoying the sun activities and gardening. I check groups every day, even though I'm doing other things as well.

I also wanted to add.....with Lemon sick we all may have to fill in the gaps and post messages, just like you did.

We aren't going anywhere! We're just getting there a little slower at the moment :^) I'm off to the races this weekend to take in some wonderful tailgating cooking.

Hello:

A beautiful sunny day here...I just joined a few days ago.

Does everyone like others to post recipes or just chat?

Enjoy your day.

Make sure you bring your camera along, Mass, so we can enjoy your tailgating fun, too.

I am happy to see so many of you hanging around. I know it will pick up but I did not want to see the cooking group end due to lack of participation. Will Eons kick us off if there is little activity? I have found so many great recipes and ideas here. Silversolara I am sure all of us would love to see your recipes or listen to whatever you want to share. I am having company today but will try and post a recipe or picture later on. I am having people over for grilled burgers but for the life of me can't think of something different in the way of side dishes. What takes little preparation and is a good side dish? ruralgirl

Massracin, That might be a little too easy. If I have time I might make some pesto cause I already have some goat cheese. Maybe some corn on the cob, fresh avocadoes, tomatoes and some good hamburger buns. I know-- I can cook some whole sweet onions with a little garlic, butter and soy sauce. For dessert some good ice cream or sorbet. That sounds pretty easy doesn't it? ruralgirl
