Michael Jackson

I remember Sherry & I watching Michael Jackson on TV the first time he grabbed him self you know where. Up until that day, I was his biggest fan. I distinctly remember standing up in disgust saying to Sherry, "that's the end of Michael Jackson". Soon there after, Madona started grabbing her crotch, MTV got SICK SICK SICK, and never to this day has it made a come back. To me the day MJ grabed his crotch was like taking prayer out of the schools. Yes, I loved his music but he sure changed thing more than you realize.

Wow... Others feel like I do! I am so tired of the vulgarity in the music scene now! I'll stick to Andy Williams! LOL

By the way, it was the Andy Williams show that first discovered the Jackson 5, NOT Motown like some of the news programs are saying.

I too didn't like his lifestyle. The crotch grabbing, plastic surgery, weird stuff with children - all that was a big turn off for me. It will be interesting to see what the autopsy shows.

I personally did not think much of his music but what fame did to him was a shame. He was a wonderful showman!

He and his brothers were wonderful together and I did like some of his earlier singles but like you all have said..... things turned......life of a child star ????? He did contribute to music as a whole.... so to speak "he had the beat" but got ruined by what? whom? where? when? I wonder what IS in his autopsy and who was behind the scenes..... Common story, isn't it!?!?!?!

It seems that is the price of fame. Very few avoid it. They must have strong morals and values and not let all the "stuff" go to their heads. Paul Newman is a good example of one who has it together. Perry Como is another. Weak people will exhibit weak characters and even more so when they are rich and famous.
